Thank you to everyone who attended our second Children’s Book Reading event!

Twenty people (adults and children) came out and enjoyed book reading both in Japanese and English. There was lots of laughter and smiles! We really appreciate everyone’s support.

The first book we read was “From Head to Toe” by Eric Carle. We enjoyed the colorful world of the book in Japanese and learned how to say the names of the animals and their gestures in English.

The second book we read was “Swimmy” by Leo Lionni. Everyone was into the book with the beautiful translation by Shuntaro Tanigawa and the wonderful recitation by Chiharu.

Thank you to Chiharu and Caliph for doing such great jobs to entertain children and adults. Thanks to our Caring Volunteers (Mayuko, Hide, Seiko, Haruko, Izumi and Anggie) everyone had lots of fun!

We’re having our third Children’s Book Reading event on Sunday October 22nd. Please RSVP here soon to secure your spot. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Thank you for supporting CARE.
